Next generation home battery

Today, September 15th, the next generation of home batteries launches on the Swedish market, exclusively at Svea Solar. The battery, SAJ HS5 EK90, comes with the most comprehensive warranty on the market*, is built for Swedish conditions and can be used as backup during power outages.

- A good home battery with smart control is essential if you want to take charge of your electricity bill. - The SAJ HS5 EK90 is built for our cold climate. It handles temperatures from minus 30 to plus 50 degrees Celsius, keeps the house running during power outages, and carries a 15-year product warranty. Being SAJ’s sole partner at launch makes it all the more exciting, Erik Martinson adds.

Beyond the most comprehensive warranty, the battery meets the highest certification standards for safety. Its modular design makes it future-proof: capacity can easily be expanded up to 54 kWh.

The SAJ HS5 EK90 will be installed exclusively by Svea Solar throughout 2026.

* Based on an overall assessment of up to 4.4 MWh of guaranteed energy throughput per installed kWh, a 15-year product warranty and 70% remaining battery capacity after 15 years. Particular weight has been given to the length of the product warranty and the remaining capacity, as these determine the actual benefit to the consumer over the battery’s lifetime. The cell cycle specification (12,000 cycles) forms part of the product’s technical specification but is not covered by the warranty terms.
