About us

Svea Solar is one of Europe’s leading providers of energy solutions for homes and businesses. Founded in 2014 on a mission to rid the planet of fossil fuels, the company operates across four markets — Sweden, Germany, Italy, and Belgium.

Mission

Rid the planet of Fossil fuels

Vision

We provide sustainable energy solutions, in a simple way, to as many homes as possible.

History

Born out of the belief that solar is the most powerful solution to fixing the planet’s problems, Swedish entrepreneurs Björn Lind and Erik Martinsson founded Svea Solar in a small studio apartment in the suburbs of Stockholm in 2013.

From the very start, the vision has been to lead the shift to a more sustainable future by providing smart, innovative and accessible solutions for going solar.

Svea Solar has since evolved to new products and smart energy solutions in our energy platform Sunbeam. However, our mission remains the same, to rid the planet of fossil fuel.

Our goal is to make renewable energy a smooth and profitable investment. An investment that not only gives our customers control of their energy but also has the power to bring us towards a fossil-free planet.
