Svea Solar Powers New Educational Hub in Milan in Partnership with Save the Children

Svea Solar is proud to announce its contribution to the newly inaugurated Punto Luce (Point of Light) in the Gallaratese district of Milan, a project led by Save the Children to support children and adolescents in underserved communities.

The Punto Luce Gallaratese, officially opened on May 21, 2025, is a high-impact educational center offering a wide range of free activities—from academic tutoring and creative workshops to digital literacy, and sports. The initiative aims to reduce educational inequality and create opportunities for young people to thrive.

As part of its commitment to sustainability and social impact, Svea Solar decided to support the project by becoming one of the donors of the center and has equipped it with a photovoltaic system that supplies clean, renewable energy. This installation not only reduces the facility’s environmental footprint but also lowers operational costs, allowing more resources to be invested directly in educational programming.

“We believe that access to education and clean energy should go hand in hand,” said Roberto Colombo, Managing Director of Svea Solar Italy. “Partnering with Save the Children on this initiative reflects our shared vision of a more inclusive and sustainable future.”

This collaboration underscores Svea Solar’s dedication to empowering communities and investing in the next generation. By combining innovation with purpose, the company continues to drive positive change—one solar panel at a time.
